I’m Doing Science and I’m Still Alive

Hey there,
Long time, no see. Been a few months. I’ve been busy living life and enjoying my time off. I’m excited to come back to work- I feel refreshed and ready to get back into the swing of things. I already have some great ideas for some Nerd segments. In the meantime, I’ve been working on some personal projects. It’s been fun, but my heart belongs at Naked News and I’m itching to get back into the studios. It’s a wonderful feeling to love your job this much.

I’ll be honest- I was worried I wouldn’t be able to come back. I gained a LOT of weight during my pregnancy, and I was worried I wasn’t going to lose it all- or worse, I’d lose it all and my body would look like eighteen miles of hard road when I was done shedding the pounds. Luckily, due to a rigorous diet and exercise program, I’m back to…well…looking like this:

It’s easier to ooze self confidence when you like what you see in the mirror. Luckily, I like my postpartum body better than I liked my body before…I’m curvier in the right places, and I think my body looks more balanced than it did pre-pregnancy.

I even fill out costumes better:

I feel like I’ve changed a lot in the past three months. I’ve grown into more of an adult. My priorities have drastically shifted. But don’t worry, I still enjoy dressing up as superheroes and having lightsaber battles in the street.

I’m going to peace out, enjoy life, and dole out some cuddles to a deserving creature now.

Until next time…

  • randyripoff

    You’re looking seriously hot.

  • pigsick

Look forward to seeing your post-preg naked body

  • Chris

Hey, nice to see you haven’t forgotten us non twittering non facebooking type people:) I was starting to worry. Anyway… I’m looking forward to your return. The show just isn’t the same without you (and I hope you haven’t mutated into TOO much of an adult while you were away… It was that quirky sense of humor I came to love about ya. — well, and the fact that you like comics too…)

  • Chris

Ok, now I KNOW we need you back there… On their Hollywood EXPOSED segment for today (June 29) They referred to Leonard McCoy as “that ENGINEER from Star Trek”. I know if you had been there, they never ever EVER would have gotten away with letting that get by them… Not the Naked Nerd….

  • Jerry Sweeney

    Looking forward to your return.

  • Bob

It’s great to have you back, Overlady. Having a baby has obviously done nothing to harm your sexy mystique. Hope to hear more from you soon, the nerd world needs you!

  • JJ

Hi Kat Glad your coming back how about a new intro picture for the Naked Nerd the old one (with black hair) must be at least five years old by now as I remember it from 2008

  • Ken

Wanted to say that I’m stoked to hear you are finally coming back to NN. Hope you and baby are doing great and I just gotta say, the new body is SMOKIN !!!!!

  • Mark fm Spokane

You look amazing! Having a baby didn’t hurt your body any. Can’t wait to see you in Sep.

  • I really like your before body, but I can see in your pictures that your shape has evolved to be more sensual, like you say, now you are curvier in the right places. You are a beautiful woman.

I am seen forward for your new projects.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.

  • Richard

Nice to see you after a slump time. Come back soon Kat. NN without you is not the same NN.

  • AceTracer

I concur; you’ve filled out nicely. Congrats on the family.

  • Phil

Kat – You are an amazing young lady. I just checked out your photos from June 28 – you look wonderful, but then, you always did, imho. Counting the hours to your return to NN. Be well.

    Your loyalest minion,

Sorry I’ve not been in touch much lately, I spend lots of time on DC Universe Online. Lately, however, there have been some changes.

Initially, I played only heroes, as if somehow the good or bad on the game I might do crossed in some manner into real life. My wife still thinks this way, because the villains she plays are tasked to do things she has a difficult time accepting.

I noticed, however, upon completion of some quest, that if I go back in to the same spot, someone has hit the reset button, and all that good I’ve just done is erased, as if I had never been. I even watch this happen in front of me as, having been knocked out by some enemy, in the time it takes me to revive, I see the enemy who has knocked me out vanish from computerized existence.

Having witnessed this, I now have no problem with heroes or villains, considering the task at hand. Moreover, I see that villains have much more humor and fun than heroes, who seem never to lose that desperation, as might a real-life Superman, tasked to save the world.

That said, I do love the villains’ fun and enjoyment focus. Remember, at heart I am a hero, but you may not devine that from my DCUO villainy.

    Your dedicated minion, Andy.

    Hi Kat,

I miss you on the program. Can’t wait until you are back. You look stunning in your pictures. Your body looks amazing! I love your curves! I applaud you for your hard work in losing the baby weight. Once you have a child, you definitely find that your priorities change as now you have to worry about another person who depends solely on you to take care of them. Being a parent is the toughest and most rewarding job you will ever have. My best to you and your child.

  • Andy

    You must return quick.

Who else will do those nerd segments? Besides, I must have my comics fix.

  • Forestvillee

    Kat 3.0 looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! !

  • Phil

Kat ~ It was great seeing you on the Closing Remarks segment of NN tonite. You look amazing! I’m looking forward to your first and all succeeding Naked Nerd segments!

    Cute Things Dying Violently

I’m sure you already would know about this game – even have played it, I suppose.

Anyway, I just saw the ad on steam for what might be a new one on their list. Of course, since I hardly ever put down DC Universe, I’m not sure when I can make the time.

  • Scott

    Hey Katherine,

Hope you and the little one are doing well. Are you still planning to keep this site up and going? How about NN? What’s up with you these days?

    Hope all is well:)

  • tom

glad your back kat looking better than ever
from a minion to you go girl

  • Andy

While playing on DC Universe, a friend of mine asked me a question, which I forward to you. Lacking credit card and living in Canada, how may one acquire prepaied credit for DC Universe? I do not know what city, which could be an issue.

  • Kat you’re great and lovely inside too!
